About the Author
Steve Wright is an experienced falconer who has been flying and hunting with birds of prey for more than 25 years, and has trained hundreds of people in the falconry. A former owner of his own falconry center, he now puts on public falconry displays and organizes hawking-experience breaks and corporate falconry events.

An absolutely delightful guide to a magnificent sport.

This book is a fantastic introduction to the sport of Falconry. While it is by no means an exhaustive guidebook, it presents a clear path for those that wish to learn more about the sport. It emphasizes more than once, that falconry is not a sport that you can just pick up and put down, it is for serious hunters and bird lovers only.
Beautiful photography and colorful writing bring this short but fun book to life. I had a great time reading it and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to learn more about Falconry.

Excellent Introduction

What sets this book apart is the professional and memorable style of the writing. The author has very deep knowledge and experience - and just as importantly he is able to communicate it in a very human, effective way. An excellent way to learn the basics of falconry, and highly recommended.
