About the Author

I read the book once already and i'm getting ready to start the series over again, including 6! The book had me from the start and I literally couldn't put it down. This series is everythingggggggg I just HAD to log on so I could write my review. I cannot wait to see what comes next based on the ending but this is seriously a dedicated fan from the beginning, to the end. CAN YOU BELIEVE ZYIAR THOUGH?! ugh. No spoilers but yes, this is yet another amazing addition to the series.

Eliot lived in these towns and later gave forth The Waste Land. John Buchan walked down a hard, stone staircase and was inspired to write his novel The Thirty-Nine Steps. We also meet a coterie of local legends: parricide Richard Dadd, noted Nazi confidence man Lord Curzon, and boxer Freddie Mills, who was brutally murdered. This English seacoast is not the milieu of famous summer holidays but of denizens of Dickens's slums. This first book by British writer Seabrook is recommended for public libraries. Very practical fluids engineering guide

Book was well worth the money. Compariable in price to any academic text. I bought it new, which is a reprint of the classic Blevins text. It doesn't come with any dust cover. I was looking for pipe & fitting loss calculations, which it goes over extensively. Serves as a good guide for actual engineering, since it contains a good balance of theory, design guidelines, and applied data from experimentation on most fluid mechanics type problems.

An Indispensible Handbook for Fluids Engineers

This book is an excellent and exhaustive treatment of the engineering aspects of fluid flow in pipes, through components, and in open channel situations, not to mention nearly every other situation that a mechanical engineer might encounter. As an engineer with fluids and thermal system design experience, I highly recommend this work to anyone in this field. Especially useful are the exhaustive tables of K - values for nearly every imaginable component, including partially open valves, screens, and almost every imaginable type of pipe. This book is well worth the price.
